• Spirit of BC Community Committees were the core of the Spirit of BC program
  
  
• There were more than 90 Spirit of BC committees throughout the province representing over 200 regions and communities
  
  
• Spirit of BC Community Committees often raised funds and sought sponsorship and in-kind donations locally
  
  
• Spirit of BC Week, held each February from 2005-2009, celebrated our province and its unique communities, as well as a countdown to the 2010 Winter Games
  
  
• The Spirit of BC logo represents the four areas of our province, the four seasons, and the diversity of our province's population
