Winners of the 2009 Show Your Spirit Photo Contest
As part of the annual Spirit of BC Week celebrations, the Show Your Spirit photo contest invited Spirit of BC community committees from across British Columbia to show their spirit by finding innovative ways to display the Spirit of BC logo.
The winners for the 2009 Show Your Spirit Photo contest are: Powell River Ayjoomixw (first place), Salmon Arm (second) and Langley (third). The winning committees received $600, $400 and $200, respectively, to put toward an upcoming community event. Congratulations to the winners, and thank you to all the photographers for the great entries we received.

Enderby Chamber of Commerce Balloon Release. "Enderby Welcomes the World" took place on Sunday 11th February at 3 pm outside the Enderby and District Chamber of Commerce/Visitor Information Centre. Prior to releasing the balloons, the Proclamation was read jointly by Her Worship Sue Phillips, Mayor of Enderby and Gloria Morgan, Chamber President, in front of the Spirit of BC flag. |
